What is a Gold IRA second opinion?

It is an independent review of a precious-metals retirement account you already own. The purpose is to explain what the account holds, what was originally paid, how the pricing worked and what the holdings may be worth under different valuation methods.

What is Gold IRA Rescue™?

Gold IRA Rescue™ is our flagship review service. It examines the economics behind an existing Gold IRA — the purchase amount, the products received, the metal value at the time of purchase, current valuation and the fees involved.

Do I need to know what coins I own?

No. Identifying the products is part of the review. Bringing a statement or invoice is helpful, but incomplete information is normal and expected.

What if I don't understand my Gold IRA statement?

That is one of the most common reasons people contact us. A review specialist can walk through the document with you line by line in plain English.

What if I don't know how many ounces I own?

Most statements list product quantities rather than metal weight, so this is typical. Fine metal content is normally calculated from the product descriptions.

Can someone walk through my statement with me?

Yes. Private appointments exist for exactly that purpose. There is no obligation to buy, sell or change anything afterwards.

Can I invite a family member to my review?

Yes. You are welcome to invite a spouse, adult child, financial adviser, accountant or attorney. Many people find a second set of ears helpful.

Why does the gold price on my purchase date matter?

It establishes what the metal inside your products was worth on the day you bought them. Comparing that figure with the amount invested is how the purchase premium is measured.

What is melt value?

Melt value is the fine metal content of an item multiplied by a current benchmark price for that metal. It ignores rarity, grading, packaging and brand.

What is liquidation value?

Liquidation value is an estimate of what holdings might bring if sold in current market conditions. It reflects the bid side of the market rather than retail pricing.

Why might my dealer statement and custodian statement show different values?

They may be measuring different things. One figure may reflect metal content, another retail or replacement pricing, and another a third-party valuation methodology. Different methods produce different numbers without either being improper.

Does Gold IRA Clarity sell precious metals?

Gold IRA Clarity does not sell Gold IRAs. Its purpose is to review and explain existing accounts.

Does a high premium automatically mean I was defrauded?

No. Precious-metals products normally trade above their underlying metal value. A premium alone does not establish fraud or wrongdoing.

Does a Gold IRA Rescue Score determine fraud?

No. It is an educational analytical framework. It does not determine fraud, wrongdoing, suitability or legal liability.

Do I have to sell or transfer anything after a review?

No. There is no obligation to buy, sell, transfer or change anything.

Is Gold IRA Clarity a government agency?

No. We are an independent consumer review business. We are not affiliated with any government agency, regulator, custodian, dealer, financial adviser or law firm.
